We’re Jordan and Madison, the sisters behind Mahjong Darling. Mahjong Darling is our invitation to slow down, pull up a chair, and spend a little time together. We host lessons and gatherings with a warm welcome for anyone learning their first hand.

Not long after having a baby, Jordan was looking for something that helped her feel like herself again. A little time to learn something new, spend time with friends, and have something of her own to look forward to. She found mahjong and fell completely in love.
Naturally, she taught her sister, Madison, who promptly developed a habit of winning. We like to think that says something about Jordan’s teaching. Jordan would like a rematch.
With a background in interior design, Jordan has always known how to throw a beautiful party. So bringing together thoughtfully set tables, good company, and a game we couldn’t stop playing felt like a very natural next step.
Since then, we’ve taught just about everyone we know, including our whole family. Mahjong has become a family affair, and these days, a gathering rarely ends without someone bringing out the tiles.
That’s what we want to share with you: the fun of learning, the friendly competition, and a reason to keep getting together. Whether you’re joining us for your first lesson or hosting your own party, we’ll make room at the table.
